Where To Stay In Exeter, Devon

When it comes to where to stay in Exeter when visiting this town located in the heart of the county of Devon in England you have a number of different options to choose from. You can either stay in one of the many hotels or bed & breakfast places that the city has to offer. Or if you would prefer to be, more in control of how you spend your time then why not arrange to book a self-catering apartment or cottage instead.

But being centrally located you are also in the ideal location for travelling around the county to see what other great attractions it has to offer.

For example, there is the old city walls that was built during the time that the Roman's occupied by the city or if you want, to why not spend time on a tour of the city's underground passages.

However, if you want to keep the children amused and entertained during your visit to Exeter there are plenty of adventure parks to be found a short distance by car from it. One such place you may want to consider visiting is The Riviera International Centre, which is to be found in Torquay.

Here you can enjoy everything that the centre has to offer no matter what the weather is like. The main attraction of this particular resort is the Waves Leisure Pool that has its own wave and flume machines. Also contained within the complex is Neptune's Nockout play area, which is specifically designed for the much younger members of your family. Plus after all, that fun and enjoyment if you find yourselves getting a little peckish the venue has a number of different restaurants and cafes in which one can eat.

When it comes to where to stay in Exeter in order to ensure you get the right kind of accommodation for your stay you need to book as early as possibly. Often not only will you get exactly what you want but you may well find that you can make some considerable savings on your accommodation as well.

Devon is also the home of the English cream tea, so you'll also be able to experience this treat at one of the many local tea shops in the city.
