Suggestions to Handle Infertility

By: Keith Tennent

Infertility has become a big problem with women in the modern world. It is at the root of many other disorders and diseases. But, the good news is that unless you have a mechanical problem with your body, you can get pregnant the natural way.

The basic cause of infertility is your incorrect life style. So, the first thing to do is to take all the necessary steps to improve your overall health. Make your life style choices wisely, and try and correct all the things that you are doing wrong, for instance, eat a balanced diet, follow a regular schedule of physical activity and above all be relaxed.Poor health leads to a disturbed state of mind, which in turn is the biggest hurdle in getting pregnant. The old adage of a sound mind in a sound body is true indeed, but to stretch it further, you must think of bringing a new life only in a sound body otherwise the problems can multiply.

While bad lifestyle choices may inhibit fertility, making certain choices can also increase fertility. Eat healthy food on a daily basis and think of it as a natural way to get pregnant. Consume a lot of fruit and vegetables, dairy and protein products. You'll have more energy and a lot of nutrients so that your body and your reproductive system will function properly.

Get a lot of exercise. Exercising a minimum of three times a week for 30 minutes each session will not only keep your weight at a certain level, but you'll feel better overall and give your body a boost. Cardiovascular exercise in particular helps keep blood circulation flowing properly, which also affects the blood flow through your reproductive system. This increases regular ovulation and makes sure that hormone levels are being produced.

It is also a good idea to do strength training, which will not only increase your bone density but also help in building muscle and getting rid of any excess fat. You must know that excess fat can be one of the factors that cause infertility. Many times, pregnancy occurs naturally, after both partners have lost weight.

You should not be smoking or consuming a lot of alcohol if you're trying to get pregnant. Everyone knows that this is something you shouldn't be doing while pregnant, but it can also affect your chances of becoming pregnant. Drinking once in awhile won't really affect your chances of conceiving, but heavy drinking and smoking can cause problems.

If you are getting older, you may be having problems conceiving because of your age. If you do conceive, you may also be at an increased risk for having a baby with birth defects. At the same time, if you generally lead a well balanced lifestyle and are healthy, you will improve your chances of becoming pregnant even if you're a bit older.

The commonly prescribed remedy for infertility problems of conventional medicine called in vitro fertilisation, is not recommended because it is expensive, dangerous, and has a success rate of only 14%. On the other hand, alternative treatments work much better and without any risks.

Enhancing your fertility naturally can improve the likelihood of conceiving through alternative therapies, diet, exercise, and relaxation techniques and avoid some of the hazards associated with conventional treatments
