Stop Smoking With Zero Nicotine

By: James Taylor

For people wanting to quit smoking there are a number of products available to help them. The quit smoking patch is one of the most popular and widely used.

It is quite difficult to give up smoking because the nicotine in cigarettes is very addictive. Once a smoker stops putting nicotine into their system, both the brain and body respond to this absence by producing withdrawal symptoms, otherwise known as cravings. These cravings are often so debilitating that it is estimated that only one person in twenty can stop smoking on their own.

When quit smoking patches first became available they all contained nicotine. The patches assisted the user by providing a small, yet constant supply of nicotine into the body. This was designed to help reduce the smokers craving for the nicotine they were no longer supplying to their body through cigarettes.
Critics of the nicotine patch put forth the argument that this was simply substituting one form of nicotine with another and would not help reduce the addiction in any way. With other drugs it is accepted that in order to break the addiction a user has to quit using the addictive substance completely. There have been instances of people who have in fact become addicted to the stop smoking patches that were supposed to assist them.

The Zero Nicotine patch, as the name indicates, does not contain any nicotine at all. It’s active ingredients are herbs that mimic the effects of nicotine within the body, but that are not addictive themselves. It also contains ingredients known to help flush any stored nicotine from your body. This is designed to help a smoker break their addiction to nicotine faster than using a nicotine patch or simply going cold turkey.

The Zero Nicotine patch is a safe, affordable alternative to the more commonly available stop smoking patches on the market and are becoming increasingly popular with smokers seeking a gentler solution to what is commonly prescribed.
