Marketing Yourself, Your Business or Your Service Online

Knowing what to say, how to say it, and where to say it, are key aspects of marketing online. Marketing your business or yourself seems daunting at times. Here are a few tips that will help you, no matter what you desire to market.

Certain words are "power words" in the English language. These words tend to consistently draw the readers attention. Learn to incorporate these words in your articles and adds. There are numerous "free" places to advertise online. These can be helpful but are not the most effective way to advertise. A better use of your time would be learning to submit meaningful articles to ezines related to what you do, or building relationship with potential customers via blogging, or by using other social networking sites, and putting video about yourself or your business on the web. Using these methods will build trust and relationships and will go a long way towards your success as people get to know you.

Ezines are online magazines that have a targeted audience, like the one you are reading now. You can find an ezine for almost every topic, music, art, business, etc. Subscribe to several that fit your interest or business. Ask yourself if there are topics that you can cover that aren't normally covered. Do you have a tip that would help someone else? Then write about it and submit it to your favorite ezines.

A form of highly targeted traffic can be obtained through google adsense. But, if you don't know what you are doing, it can be costly or you could end up being last in line to a zillion other advertisers. Contact me for some tips. My contact info is found below.

The saying "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" applies online as in life. Your tone in your articles and blogs should show that you care for more than your bottom line.
