Louvers Defined

The definition of a louver is A framed opening, in a wall, window or door, fitted with horizontal slats that are either secured or movable, made specifically for allowing air and light into a room.

In the past 20 years, designers have been able to create different types of louvers that the consumer can choose from, that will be a delight for all to see for years to come.

An Architectural Louvers is manufactured with the specific design of a wall, window, or doorway. They can be made either mechanical, or manual according to the consumers needs.

Vent louvers can be made in any shape and size. The can be either horizontal, or vertical, round or square, a vent louver can be made in gable form or with a trim that will last for years to come. A vent louver can be designed around any architectural design.

A wall louver is used primarily in attics. They are and used as exhaust fans to clean the air in a building or house. A wall louver works best when it is placed high above the window to allow maximum performance.

A wall louver is not recommended as an airflow system as it does not meet the requirements and limits the airflow especially under decks creating hot spots that could become dangerous.

Custom louvers can be manufactured in any shape, design, and size. The consumer can now use their imagination to design any type of custom louver and manufacturers will be able to create it.
