HGH in Baseball

HGH is an anabolic growth hormone which is produced in plenty right from the time we are born and its production decreases as we grow older that it may be even produced in very small tiny amounts when we older than 50. This HGH, or human growth hormone as it is referred to, helps children to grow quickly and it is at its peak during the adolescent stage of any human being. HGH is produced by the pituitary gland which is located in the centre of the brain. HGH is very important hormone in a person as it helps the body in many ways. It helps to repair worn out tissues, makes the bones strong, help to build muscle tissues, helps to convert body fat into muscle mass, increases the energy level in our body, promotes whole body healing, replaces worn out cell, helps in the proper functioning of the brain, helps the person to be sexually active, produces the required enzymes, and helps the hair, nails and vital organs too. It is when we reach the age of thirty that the level of HGH produced by the pituitary gland decreases considerably and ageing begins.

HGH is very important for aging athletes, body builders and other sports people like Baseball players too. Baseball is a game that requires its players to have a high level of stamina and lots of energy. In the game of baseball, the players can tear muscles while pitching or running and can also end up with a couple of bone fractures. For this they need plenty of HGH which will probably not be produced by the body in the required quantities. The taking of extra HGH would help boost their performance capabilities, stamina and power for endurance. The use of prescription hgh has probably prolonged a number of careers.

During a game of baseball if a player has any injury which could be pretty serious then extra supplementation of HGH will go a long way in helping the player to return to the game much faster than when the player does not take any supplementation of HGH. Various research studies have proven this is to be true.

When baseball players take this hormone it helps to increase their muscle strength and also its size. This goes along way when players need lots of power to bat the ball, and plenty of explosive strength through out the game. There are also some known side effects called Acromegaly which can occurred if players use this hormone supplement in excess. This would negate the benefits one was looking to achieve.

This is one hormonal drug which has been in the ban list of many sports associations like the Olympics. It is also now banned in baseball. If you are an athletic person and would like to increase your stamina and your muscle strength, then the consumption of HGH supplements can be a big help. You should consult your physician first before taking pharmaceutical growth hormone. You can also log onto the internet and find a wealth of information on hormone supplements.
