There are advantages and disadvantages to both Condos and Single Family homes. So what is the best choice for you? Condos, depending on location can offer a less expensive price, while house usually offer more privacy but tend to be higher in cost and upkeep.

Consider these factors in your decision:

Location
What is best for you? Factor in elements like your commute to work, safety of the neighborhood, school districts, and taxes.

Privacy
Do you want to be really close to your neighbors, or have a level of privacy only offered by a house in the woods?

Maintenance
Are you a do-it-yourself person? A house is best for you. Often, condos are maintained for you. Also consider that you may have to share decision making with neighbors.

Budget
Always consider what you really can afford.
